Treepy’s World of Discoveries

Treepy's World of Discoveries is a short, wordless graphic story by Christina Huynh and Jessica Johnson Huynh. The pair created this comic story for the Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds inaugural anthology by the Children Book Council of Australia (Eastern Suburbs Branch), officially launching in May 2021 at the State Library of New South Wales.

A short story inspired by one's curiosity and the faithful habits of our furry four-legged friends. Treepy's World of Discoveries follows a shaggy, black Labrador's journey through the different realms one can experience in a day. One rainy summer afternoon, a sleepy, Treepy discovers photographs capturing the past (Old Worlds), the creation of scrapbooking new memories (New Worlds), as well as finding magic beyond our world in the vessel of reading (Other Worlds).
