‘Launch of the Pollinators’ at Ingleburn Public School

The Launch of the Pollinators mural shows a story of the children of Ingleburn Public who ensemble mechanical pollinators in the form of honey bees to go forth and pollinate a stem of Gorse Bitter peas, colloquially termed 'bacon and eggs'. The Gorse Bitter Pea is an erect spiky shrub about 1 metre tall. It is small, yellow with red-brown petals in colour and a plant that is encouraged to be grown in the gardens of the local Campbelltown area. It is the heart and high spirits of the kids of IPS that inspired the design as well as the four pillars of the school: Empowerment, Global Citizen, Innovation and Collaboration.
